Advertising is great for drawing in new customers and promoting special pricing or events. But once you get the customers through the door, how likely are they to return? Did you offer them an experience that will make them think twice about going to a competitor? Are you simply just curious how your business runs while you are not there? We can help!

Because we are mobile consultants, we have local anonymity- no one knows who we are in local shops. And because we are not from the area, we love to ask questions and learn about the places and businesses we come across! We can come into your shop, restaurant, or yoga studio and from start to finish experience your business and employees. We will not just be a consumer that can post an online review. We will be observing your business from our consulting perspective. We will then meet about the experience and discuss business functions including the environment in and around your business, opportunities for employee training, and expanding product or service offerings.

Brick-and-Mortar Store

  • Curb appeal
  • Overall customer service
  • Are employees knowledgeable about the products?
  • Do employees have a sales style or ability to be nurtured?
  • What is the ease of the checkout process? (Queue organization, software use, packaging)

This service includes:

  • Initial consultation to discuss expectations and concerns (30 minutes)
  • Three (3) shopping trips of up to one (1) hour each including observation of and interaction with employees
  • Record-keeping of each trip, including but not limited to: curbside pictures, photos of displays, notes of observations and interactions, etc. (30 minutes each trip)
  • Follow up consultation to discuss findings and strategies to solve any known or found issues (1 hour)

Price: $720 plus reimbursement for product purchase (up to $25)


Restaurant

  • Curb appeal
  • Overall customer service, cleanliness, and quality of food served
  • Are employees knowledgeable about the menu or specials? Ingredients?
  • How often are diners checked on?
  • Is idle time noticeable?

This service includes:

  • Initial consultation to discuss expectations and concerns (30 minutes)
  • Three (3) meal trips approximately (one) 1 hour in length at various busy/slow times and various menu items
  • Record keeping of each trip, including but not limited to: curbside pictures; notes of observations, interactions, food quality, service experience, etc. (30 minutes each trip)
  • Follow up consultation to discuss findings and strategies to solve any known or found issues (1 hour)

Price: $720 plus meal reimbursement*

* Due to the variance in pricing scale for restaurants, the budget for reimbursement will be decided upon during consultation. Typically, the budget will include up to one appetizer, two adult entrees, non-alcoholic beverages, and a dessert.


Yoga Studio

  • Curb appeal
  • Overall customer service by reception staff
  • Are employees knowledgeable about your services? Pricing structure?
  • Overall yoga class experience- ambiance, flow
  • What type of language did the instructor use that felt good? Not so good?
  • Were options or modifications given? (Your new clients are likely beginners. Options and modifications are inviting and build confidence.)

This service includes:

  • Initial consultation to discuss expectations and concerns (30 minutes)
  • Attendance of an agreed upon number of classes 60-90 minutes in length with either the same or different teachers
  • Record keeping of each trip, including but not limited to: curbside pictures; photos of displays, condition of borrowed supplies, notes of observations, interactions, language used by instructors, sensory experience, etc. (30 minutes each trip)
  • Follow up consultation to discuss findings and strategies to solve any known or found issues (1 hour)

Price: $360 plus our per hour rate ($120) for each class attended** plus reimbursement for drop-in value of each class or purchased class card

**According to our pricing, we bill our time in 30-minute increments.
